JOE
OBIAGO, CHAIRMAN/CEO |
After twelve years
of service as Managing Director/CEO, Mr. Obiago was
appointed Chairman/CEO in January 21, 2004. Until
recently, he was the Chairman of Nigerdock Nigeria
Plc, which GEC acquired controlling interest in November
2001, through the Federal Government of Nigeria Privatization
Programme in a keenly contested competitive tender
featuring several leading international marine and
offshore contractors. |
In
1991, Mr. Obiago led a group of investors to establish
Global Energy Company Limited (GEC), a Nigerian-based
international oil services group, providing exploration,
engineering and energy advisory services to the Sub-Saharan
Africa petroleum industry. As the founding CEO, Mr.
Obiago has driven the company’s pioneering role
as a truly indigenous service provider and forerunner
in the African petroleum industry. Prior to GEC, he
worked at Citibank NA, for seven years as a Senior
Manager, in various Units - banking operations, treasury,
corporate finance and consumer banking.
Mr. Obiago is a (First Class Honors) graduate of
Economics and Business Administration from Dillard
University, New Orleans, United States of America
and between 1982-83 worked as a Research Economist
in US Department of Commerce & Department of Transportation
co-sponsored projects.
He attended several Senior Executive Programs at Lagos
Business School/IESE, Barcelona and Southern Methodist
University, Dallas. He is a member of the Advisory
Committee of the Offshore West Africa Conference (OWA),
West African Enterprise Network (WAEN), as well as
consultant to several national & major oil companies
and financial institutions. His research interests
cover a range of topics in the oil, gas and finance
sectors, and he is often a guest speaker in various
national and international conferences.

PATRICK
OBOT, Executive Director |
| He holds
Bachelor and Master of Science Degrees in Geology from
the University of Calabar and an Advanced Management
Programme (AMP) Diploma from the Lagos Business School.
Prior to joining Global Energy Company in 1991, he had
worked as consultant Geologist, consulting for E &
P companies in Nigeria including Shell, ExxonMobil,
ChevronTexaco, TotalfinaElF. |
| He
has over the 12 years of working career with the company
held senior management positions in various capacities
and units spanning general administration, business
development, project management, products development
and marketing, project execution and operations, the
latest of which was his secondment to Nigerdock as Acting
Director of Operations in-charge of the day-to-day operations
of the yard. He has over 16 years Oil Industry E&P
experience in prospects evaluation, basin analysis and
stratigraphic studies. He oversees the company’s
Asset and Resource Management services business, the
West Africa Business and other key projects for the
Company. |

ADE AUDIFFEREN,
MD/COO, Global Power Company |
He
holds a Master of Science in Structural Engineering
from The George Washington University, Washington
D.C., USA and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil
& Structural Engineering from the University of
Cardiff, Wales U.K. Prior to joining Global Energy
Power Company in 2008, he had worked for The Association
of American Railroads, USA, and General Electric Infrastructure,
USA.

in GE, Ade had a number of different roles in the USA
and in Nigeria he has held a number of senior roles
ranging from Managing Director GE International Operations
Nigeria, to leading the local services contract negotiation
on the Fast Track gas turbines equipment purchase &
installation with PHCN/NIPP. Most recently, prior to
joining Global Energy, Ade was Sub-Sahara Africa Services
Sales RGM for GE Oil & Gas, Italy. Ade brings to
Global Energy over 11 years Energy, and Oil & Gas
equipment & services industry experience. |

CHUMA MADUEKWE,
MD / COO SDEM ERECTORS LIMITED |
Mr Maduekwe
holds a B.Sc Degree in Banking and Finance from the
University of Nigeria, Nsukka and is an Associate (ACA)
of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria
(ICAN). He started his career at ARTHUR ANDERSEN Lagos
(now KPMG Professional Services in Nigeria) after his
mandatory National Service which he did with DIAMOND
Bank Limited.

He
left ANDERSEN LAGOS as a Senior Audit Consultant and
joined CAPITAL ALLIANCE NIGERIA as a Senior Investment
Associate.
Mr. Maduekwe took up appointment with Global Energy
Company (GEC) as Head Non-Traditional Business Unit
(NTB) in August 2004. The NTB Unit spear headed the
acquisition of 90% equity stake in SDEM Erectors Nigeria
Limited by GEC in December 2004 and he was seconded
to SDEM Erectors Nigeria Limited as the Chief Operating
Officer in January 2005. In November 2006, the Board
of SDEM Erectors formally appointed him as the substantive
Managing Director with effect from January 1, 2007. |

MICHAEL
ALAWODE, Manager Engineering Services/Area |
Manager
Engineering Services/Area Manager, Port Harcourt
He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering
from the University of Lagos and a Master of Science
Degree in Engineering Management from the University
of Benin. He holds the Advanced Management Programme
Diploma from the Lagos Business School. |
| Prior to joining Global
Energy Company in 1998, he had worked for ABB and the
Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited.
While in Global Energy Company, he has worked in various
capacities before reaching the position of Manager Engineering
Services. He has over 14 years oil and gas experience
in Project management, Construction activities for production
systems including pumps, flowlines and corrosion engineering
in offshore and onshore platforms. Mike has recently
being promoted as Area Manager Port Harcourt with the
responsibility of coordinating our field locations in
Port Harcourt and Warri. |

DIOKA, General Counsel/ Secretary |
General
Counsel/ Secretary to the Board
He attended Anambra State University of Technology,
Enugu where he obtained a Bachelor of Law Degree (LL.B)
in 1989 and later attended the Nigerian Law School,
Lagos and was admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 1990.

holds a Master of Law Degree (LL.M) with specialization
in Maritime & Commercial Law from Lagos State University,
Certificat d’Etude Francaise (1er and 2eme degrees)
from Alliance Francaise de Lagos and the Advanced Management
Programme (AMP) Diploma from the Lagos Business School
- Pan African University. Prior to joining the Company
in April 2002 from Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited,
he had worked with Messrs. Udo Udoma & Belo-Osagie
and Schlumberger Geco-Prakla (Nigeria) Limited. Mr.
Dioka has 15 years cognate and hands-on experience in
the oil and gas sector of the Nigerian Petroleum Industry
and specializes in Energy & Natural Resources Law.
He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and the
International Bar Association. He oversees the company’s
Legal Unit, Company Secretarial matters, Contracts administration,
Risk management, Regulatory & Compliance issues. |

FESTUS
OLUWASEUN, Financial Controller |
He holds
a Higher National Diploma in Accountancy from Auchi
Polytechnic. He is also an Associate Member of the Institute
of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, the Chartered Institute
of Taxation of Nigeria and the Nigerian Institute of
Management. He has over 12 years work experience in
Accounting, Finance and Treasury functions.

| He holds
a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology from the University
of Calabar. He is an alumnus of the Lagos Business School.
He has attended various management programmes and has
over 15 years experience in the Nigerian Petroleum Industry.

is a member of the International Association of Structural
& Tectonic Geologists, Nigerian Mining and Geosciences
Society and the Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationists.
