Our Operating Structure at GEC is categorised under Energy, Infrastructure, and Services, the three pillars of Our Mission. Under natural resources we focus on upstream Oil and Gas, Coal, and Ocean resources. Under Infrastructure, we focus on Engineering, Oil and Gas Services, Exploration Services, Carbon Credit Trading, and Power generation and transmission. Our infrastructure businesses also include Property Development and Securities and investments.

Our upstream oil and gas business is executed through three companies: GEC Petroleum Development Company Nigeria Ltd (GPDC), Afren Global Energy Resources (AGER), and Associated Offshore Oil Nigeria Limited (AOONL).

Our Infrastructure and Services business is executed through: SDEM (A mechanical Erection and Civil Construction Company), GEC Energy Solutions (Exploration Services Company), GEC Powerlines (Electric Power Transmission Company), GEC Properties (A Property Development Company), and Enviro Africa (A Carbon Credit Generation and Trading Company).
